Johanna Argan is a Los Angeles based costume designer by way of New York. She has been around clothes most of her life, dating back to her father's own garment business on New York's 7th Avenue. Her own path in fashion began with prestigious companies like Dolce & Gabbana and Issey Miyake. After migrating to Los Angeles her interests shifted to a career in costume design, where a long working career began. Her most recent work includes Showtimes Super Pumped, Apple's Defending Jacob & Truth Be Told series, the pilot for the hit NBC show Good Girls, Epix's Get Shorty and the award winning Netflix original series House of Cards. Included are the films Shrink, Catch 44, Killers, the indie cult fan favorite Fanboys, the 2017 Tony Awards and several commercials and print shoots. 

To date, she has received one Emmy nomination and three Costume Designer Guild Award nominations.
